Este taller está pensado para quienes ya tienen una fuente en proceso y quieren retomarla, hacerla crecer, resolver problemas de diseño o llevarla a un nivel profesional.

Caso 1

Empezaste una fuente hace tiempo, la dejaste en pausa y ahora quieres retomarla con una mirada renovada.

Caso 2

Tienes una fuente en un solo peso o estilo y quieres desarrollar otros pesos y/o estilos, pero no tienes claro por dónde continuar.

Caso 3

Ya tienes una familia con más de un estilo, pero necesitas depurar detalles y trabajar en la coherencia entre sus diferentes partes.

Caso 4

Tienes una familia bastante avanzada y quieres refinarla y llevarla a un nivel profesional para publicarla.

Durante el taller se revisará a fondo las cualidades formales y rítmicas de tu proyecto, fortalezas, debilidades y posibilidades tanto expresivas como funcionales. Nos centraremos en aspectos avanzados de dibujo, espaciado, mancha y ritmo, con una mirada especializada que te ayudará a tomar decisiones y fortalecer la coherencia de tu familia tipográfica.

Cuanto más avanzado esté tu proyecto, más provecho podrás sacarle al taller. Trae esa fuente que tienes pendiente, esa familia que quieres hacer crecer o ese proyecto que estás listo para llevar al siguiente nivel.

This workshop is for anyone who already has a typeface in progress and wants to pick it back up, develop it further, solve design problems, or take it to a professional level.

Do any of these sound familiar? This is the workshop for you!

Case 1

You started a typeface some time ago, put it on hold, and now want to come back to it with a fresh perspective.

Case 2

You have a typeface in a single weight or style and want to develop additional weights and/or styles, but you’re not sure where to go next.

Case 3

You already have a family with more than one style, but need to refine details and work on consistency across its different parts.

Case 4

You have a fairly advanced type family and want to refine it and bring it to a professional level, ready for publication.

During the workshop, we’ll take an in-depth look at the formal and rhythmic qualities of your project, its strengths, weaknesses, and both its expressive and functional possibilities. We’ll focus on advanced aspects of drawing, spacing, texture, and rhythm, with a specialized perspective that will help you make informed decisions and strengthen the coherence of your type family.

The more developed your project is, the more you’ll get out of the workshop. Bring that typeface you’ve been meaning to return to, the family you want to develop further, or the project you’re ready to take to the next level.
